Tapping Therapy (EFT©) – Meridian Point & Emotion Tutorial Part 1

Tapping Point Relationship Tutorial

In this tutorial, I offer a diagram detailing the meridian tapping points, together with the organs they energize and the emotions they regulate. It can be most helpful to have this information when tapping, though it is not necessary to the success of the tapping therapy session.

The tapping points covered in this tutorial are:

EB – eyebrow is the bladder meridian – releases fear, phobias, impatience
SE – side of eye is the gallbladder meridian – inhibits recover from shock, increases courage and calms
UE – under eye is the stomach meridian – reduces dogmatic thinking, anxiety, addictive urges
UN – under nose is the governing vessel – reduces introverted behavior, embarrassment; used in psychological reversal
C – at chin is the conception vessel – reduces shame, birth trauma, panic, worry; frees Chi or Ki to circulate
CB – collarbone is the kidney meridian – increases decision making, willpower, induces gentleness
UA – under arm is the spleen meridian – increases energy, capacity to think, calms emotions

In the next video, I offer the rest of the tapping therapy diagram as well as an explanation of psychological reversal.

Peace to you.

Welcome. I am Ellen Sutherland and here we are Being Spiritual.

This is the first part of the tapping therapy (tutorial) and we are going to go through the diagram – the tapping points in the diagram. I want to talk to you a little bit about what each point represents.

Let’s bring up the diagram and go through it. We generally tap on all of these points that the lines pointing to the general area of the body show: the eyebrow; side of the eye; under the eye; under the nose; the chin; the collarbone; under the arm, at the thumb; index middle and baby fingers.

The gamut point is tapped when you are particularly stuck – there’s a whole procedure for that. The karate chop or the sore spots – see the sore spots on the chest, the chest area, the 2 sore spots identified by the dotted lines? Or the karate chop, which is the small intestine point on the hand. The sore spots are either rubbed or the karate chop is tapped to deal with something called psychological reversal.

I want to go through each one of those tapping points:

In the next tutorial will will cover the rest of the tapping points.
